CLASS 2 LICENCE

This is a One day course and does not necessarily require self learning before the day of the course.

Training is carried out in the morning followed by the assessment in the afternoon
 

WHO NEEDS A CLASS 4 LICENCE?

  • Anyone who drives a Class 4 vehicle on a road

  • A Class 4 vehicle is:
    A Vehicle with a GCM (Gross Combined Mass) of more than 1500kgs and less than ????000kgs, or
    A Special type vehicle with a GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) of

  • (Note a road is defined as anywhere the public have reasonable access to by right or not) - So an endorsement is not required in a closed store, however would be required for an open warehouse!

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

Before you are able to complete the practical component of this course you must first hold a Class 4 learners license. We recommend that you attend the theory part of our time reduction course first as we provide you with the materials required and can assist you through the process.
 

 

CLASS 2 LICENCE

This is a One and a half day course and does not require self learning before the day of the course.

In class training is carried out on the first day followed by assessments, the following day consists of Practical training and an road assessment.
 

THIS COURSE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO EMPLOYEES OF TRANSPORT RELATED COMPANIES

  • This course is subsidised by the NZRT&LITO

  • A training agreement is put in place to access this subsidy
