Current Modern Apprenticeship Training Programmes

 

For an Apprenticeship in Road Transport (To class 4 Licence):


A two Year programme with block courses at 6 month intervals, block course programmes are also staggered through the year to ensure four intakes a year, These are February, May, August and October.

The course content for the block courses has been painstakingly worked out to ensure the most effectiveness of the training, during employment and between block courses the apprentice is also required to carry out practical training on the job. Additional unique training is carried out between block courses and are called "Bolt-on's"

At the completion of the two year programme (excluding any additional bolt-on's) the apprentice will be licensed with a Full class 4 licence and a Forklift OSH certificate and an endorsement.

The apprentice will of course also have built up a good knowledge of company’s procedures & systems making the candidate a valuable part of your team!

At the completion of the two year apprenticeship the option may also exist to go on to a further Advanced two year programme.

*(Bolt on courses are run to suit each employer and their unique situation, excluding compulsory core apprenticeship units.)

 

For an Apprenticeship in warehousing and distribution (To level 2):


This is a short two block course programme at 6 month intervals, block course programmes are also staggered through the year to ensure four intakes a year, These are January, April, July and September.

The course content for the block courses has been painstakingly worked out to ensure the most effectiveness of the training, during employment and between block courses the apprentice is also required to carry out practical training on the job.

At the completion of the programme the apprentice will be licensed with a  Forklift OSH certificate and an endorsement.

The apprentice will of course also have built up a good knowledge of company’s procedures & systems making the candidate a valuable part of your team!

At the completion of the Level 2 apprenticeship the option may also exist to go on to a Level 3 and then level 4 course.
